The objective of this work package is to construct standardised genetic modules to equip a P. putida chassis with the ability to produce valuable biomolecules and biomaterials from plastic monomers (WP2). This will mainly focus on modules and microbes for the production of bioplastics (PHA) and other chemicals derived from the PHA production pathway.
